Children, it is the last hour, and as you heard that antichrist is coming, and now many antichrists have come, therefore/for which reason we know that it is the last hour.

小子們哪，如今是末時了。你們曾聽見說，那敵基督的要來；現在已經有好些敵基督的出來了，從此我們就知道如今是末時了。

¹⁹  evx h`mw/n evxh/lqan avllV ouvk h=san<sub>impf</sub> evx h`mw/n\ eiv ga.r evx h`mw/n h=san( memenh,keisan<sub>plupf過去完成</sub> a'n meqV h`mw/n\ avllV i[na fanerwqw/sin_sub.pass.aor o[ti ouvk eivsi.n pa,ntej evx h`mw/nÅ  

They came out from us but they were not from us; for if they were from us, they would have remained with us; but they reveal主動義 that none of them are from us.

他們從我們中間出去，卻不是屬我們的；若是屬我們的，就必仍舊與我們同在；他們出去，顯明都不是屬我們的。

²⁰  kai. u`mei/j cri/sma e;cete avpo. tou/ a`gi,ou kai. oi;date pa,ntejÅ  

And you have an anointing from the holy one and you know all things.

你們從那聖者受了恩膏，並且知道這一切的事（或作：都有知識）。

²¹  ouvk e;graya_aor u`mi/n o[ti ouvk oi;date th.n avlh,qeian avllV o[ti oi;date auvth.n kai. o[ti pa/n yeu/doj evk th/j avlhqei,aj ouvk e;stinÅ  

I wrote to you not because you don’t know the truth, but because you know it and because every lie is not out of the truth.

我寫信給你們，不是因你們不知道真理，正是因你們知道，並且知道沒有虛謊是從真理出來的。

²²  Ti,j evstin o` yeu,sthj eiv mh. o` avrnou,menoj o[ti VIhsou/j ouvk e;stin o` Cristo,jÈ ou-to,j evstin o` avnti,cristoj( o` avrnou,menoj to.n pate,ra kai. to.n ui`o,nÅ  

Who is the liar if not the one who denies that Jesus is not the Christ? He is the antichrist, the one who denies the father and the son.

誰是說謊話的呢？不是那不認耶穌為基督的嗎？不認父與子的，這就是敵基督的。

²³  pa/j o` avrnou,menoj to.n ui`o.n ouvde. to.n pate,ra e;cei( o` o`mologw/n to.n ui`o.n kai. to.n pate,ra e;ceiÅ  

Every one who denies the son doesn’t have the father, the one who confessess the son also has the father.

凡不認子的，就沒有父；認子的，連父也有了。

²⁴  u`mei/j o] hvkou,sate avpV avrch/j( evn u`mi/n mene,tw_impeÅ eva.n evn u`mi/n mei,nh| o] avpV avrch/j hvkou,sate( kai. u`mei/j evn tw/| ui`w/| kai. evn tw/| patri. menei/te_futÅ

Let what you heard from beginning remain in you. If you remain in what you heard from beginning, and you will remain in the son and in the father.

論到你們，務要將那從起初所聽見的，常存在心裡。若將從起初所聽見的存在心裡，你們就必住在子裡面，也必住在父裡面。

²⁵  kai. au[th evsti.n h` evpaggeli,a h]n auvto.j evphggei,lato h`mi/n( th.n zwh.n th.n aivw,nionÅ  

And this is the promise which he promised us, the eternal life.

主所應許我們的就是永生。

²⁶  Tau/ta e;graya u`mi/n peri. tw/n planw,ntwn u`ma/jÅ  

I wrote these to you about/concerning the ones who lead you astray.

我將這些話寫給你們，是指著那引誘你們的人說的。

²⁷  kai. u`mei/j to. cri/sma o] evla,bete avpV auvtou/( me,nei evn u`mi/n kai. ouv crei,an e;cete i[na tij dida,skh| u`ma/j( avllV w`j to. auvtou/ cri/sma dida,skei u`ma/j peri. pa,ntwn kai. avlhqe,j evstin kai. ouvk e;stin yeu/doj( kai. kaqw.j evdi,daxen u`ma/j( me,nete evn auvtw/|Å  

As for you, the anointing which you received from him, remains in you and you have no need that anyone may teach you, but as his anointing teaches you about all things and is true and is not a lie, and as he taught you, you remain in him.

你們從主所受的恩膏常存在你們心裡，並不用人教訓你們，自有主的恩膏在凡事上教訓你們。這恩膏是真的，不是假的；你們要按這恩膏的教訓住在主裡面。

²⁸  Kai. nu/n( tekni,a( me,nete evn auvtw/|( i[na eva.n fanerwqh/| scw/men parrhsi,an kai. mh. aivscunqw/men avpV auvtou/ evn th/| parousi,a| auvtou/Å  

And now, little children, you remain in him, so that if he reveals we may have confidence and not ashamed from him in his coming.

小子們哪，你們要住在主裡面。這樣，他若顯現，我們就可以坦然無懼；當他來的時候，在他面前也不至於慚愧。

²⁹  eva.n eivdh/te o[ti di,kaio,j evstin( ginw,skete o[ti kai. pa/j o` poiw/n th.n dikaiosu,nhn evx auvtou/ gege,nnhtai_pass.pfÅ  

If you know that he is righteous, you know that everyone who does rightesousness was born from him.

你們若知道他是公義的，就知道凡行公義之人都是他所生的。

3:1 i;dete_impe potaph.n avga,phn de,dwken h`mi/n o` path.r( i[na te,kna qeou/ klhqw/men( kai. evsme,nÅ dia. tou/to o` ko,smoj ouv ginw,skei h`ma/j( o[ti ouvk e;gnw auvto,nÅ  

See what love the father has given us, that we may be called children of God, and we are. For this reason the world doesn’t know us, that it didn’t know him.

你看父賜給我們是何等的慈愛，使我們得稱為　神的兒女；我們也真是他的兒女。世人所以不認識我們，是因未曾認識他。

²  avgaphtoi,( nu/n te,kna qeou/ evsmen( kai. ou;pw evfanerw,qh ti, evso,meqaÅ oi;damen o[ti eva.n fanerwqh/|( o[moioi auvtw/| evso,meqa( o[ti ovyo,meqa auvto.n kaqw,j evstinÅ  

Beloved, now we are children of God, and it does not yet appear what we will become. We know that if it appears, we will be like him, because we will see him as he is.

親愛的弟兄啊，我們現在是　神的兒女，將來如何，還未顯明；但我們知道，主若顯現，我們必要像他，因為必得見他的真體。

³  kai. pa/j o` e;cwn th.n evlpi,da tau,thn evpV auvtw/| a`gni,zei e`auto,n( kaqw.j evkei/noj a`gno,j evstinÅ

And everyone who has this hope in him purifies oneself, as he is pure.

凡向他有這指望的，就潔淨自己，像他潔淨一樣。
