which we looked at and our hands touched concerning the word of life

and the life was revealed, and we saw and testified

and proclaimed to you the eternal life which was with the father and was revealed to us

which we have seen and heard, we proclaim to you too, so that you have fellowship with us.

and our fellowship is with the father and with his son Jesus Christ.

that God is light and in him there is no darkness at all.

If we say that we have fellwship with him but we walk in the darkness,

If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just,

that he will forgive our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
